Lauren & Dimitri (Cinematic Highlight)

Another great privilege for us to filmed the wedding of Lauren & Dimitri. We have been booked for the service way before the wedding and it just paid off their well planning ahead with all other preparations. The ceremony was beautiful, the reception party was the smashing one and all the guests were fantastic. Beautiful weather through out the day and had a great time on location shoots.

Lauren is a great singer and she had a great voice. She composed and recorded the special song for this memorable night. The song was play at bridal waltz, that's gave a big surprised for Dimitri as he heard for the first time. It was beautiful and very touching.

The dance party was awesome, lots of fun and lots of Greek dance too. Great to see many kids around and having fun showed it was a big families celebration.

Sabina & Farhan (Short Film Edit)

We had been invited to Canberra to filmed the wedding of Sabina and Fahan. It was two day shoot as first day for the traditional celebration and formal reception on the next day. Beautiful weather and blu sky but very cold at night I might add:).

We had a great time and really enjoy the lovely Indian culture. The costumes, music, dances, lanterns, and yes foods .... (one more) the unforgettable deserts:).

Showing the raw footage is not the idea and always have been posted here the edited version in the past. But to answer a few questions from clients and others that how we film, edit and how we achieved the final productions, I made this short clip to share with you.

Part one is raw footage straight out of the DSLR camera with raw audio room sound. Part two is from the steadicam but re edited a bit with music and sound effects. Obviously not for the final version but just to get the feel what would be look like and sound like.

"We, us , together, just the name a few .... is what we described to say Me and You." That was just a little line from Vasilios's speech. He wrote this beautiful poem for his beautiful wife Despina. They both preparing for this special day for a long time but finally the day come and it was like a magic moment. Beautiful weather to start with, and traditional orthodox ceremony, fun and great time on location shoots and the reception was the highlight of the day at Le Montage Function Center. All the guests we amazing and that spark the day.

Another privilege for us to be part of Lara & Ghadi's special day. They both are musician and singer. My favorite part from the day was Ghadi sang a song as his vows to Lara. His voice was full with emotions and touched everyone. After the church ceremony, the reception at Manly Pavilion with very exclusive guests. There were another surprised visitor came. A wale came so close to shore and captivated everyone.

Nothing to say about the weather and it was perfect beautiful day. Also, enjoy working peter (the photographer), and lot of fun at the beach shots. Hope you like it.

Beautiful couple for the beautiful weather on Mary and Alex's special day. Clear big blue sky and not even had one cloud. On the day, we started with traditional tea ceremony on both bride's and groom's house. Lots and lots of fun. My favorite part was the boys face the challenge for the traditional gate crash. That HOT chili was a killer :(. Love the boys ran to tap as soon as done.

Beautiful ceremony was at Vaucluse House and the reception at Sky Phoenix. As always, great working with Amelia from Picture & hearts.

First post for 2011 from one of the 2010 shots. We had 4 kinds of weather on that unforgettable day. The day started with beautiful morning. Then just before the ceremony start, the storm came follow by hails and heavy rain. After the ceremony, cleared the rain and sunshine through the photo shoots. But once we get into the reception venue at Doltone House, who care what's goes on out side the world, cause it was just electrifying with all the entertainments and the rest.

The Journey - Prewedding & Sameday edit

It was such a privilege to make this short film for Amelia and Lex. Amelia is well known photographer from Capture Art Productions and not only she is a very good friend and we work together in many weddings and many more in the future. There will be not enough space if I start write about Lex, simply become a good buddy after Amel :)

I always wonder what is gonna like shooting the wedding video for the wedding photographer. Will it be too fake as I always trying to achieved as candid and nature as possible. But shooting Amelia & Lex was so much fun and they are genuinely in love. The atmosphere on the day was amazing. The make up artist Rani(www.ranimk.com.au), the photographers and us are friend and team, so this time we owned the bride and groom really. Only little disappointed was couldn't do much on photo shoots for photographer wedding because storm and rain :( Apart from that, everything was smooth and screening this film toward the end of the reception was amazing feeling. Sound and image was perfect.

Linsi & Michael's Cinematic Edit

It was such a privilege for us as we were invited to film (almost a year before the wedding) the wedding of Linsi and Michael in Griffith. I had no doubt that it's gonna be very beautiful and very well planned. So we started traveling to Griffith the day before the wedding and it took about 6 hours to get there, but we had a great time on the way. When we arrived in that evening, as we were new visitors in town, Linsi took us for touring around the venues for the events.

On the day it's started with beautiful weather, clear blue sky and everything was so smooth as planned. Especially, it was good to see the bridal party were so relax and just enjoying the special day. Preparations for the girls started from the beauty salon and the boys started from Michael's home which is located near the vineyard. Winery has been part of Michael's life and heritage trough generations. We took a lot of photo/video shoots around the vineyard. The Ceremony was so beautiful with a lot of emotions. The receptions was so intimate as they were surrounded by so many close families and friends.

Thanks again Linsi and Michael for the opportunity to be part of your special day and love the Italian culture of friendly hospitality.

The Wedding Highlight Of Angelia & Jo-Ming

Another special opportunity to film the wedding of beautiful couple Angelia and Jo-Ming. The day started with beautiful sunshine and I thought another lucky day to film the beautiful wedding. Everything went smoothly and relax, starting from morning preparations then tea ceremony. But it was just before the ceremony started, unpredictable storm came with strong wind. With the outdoor wedding ceremony, I thought it wasn't going to make it and it was a bit challenging for us to capture good audio. The wind was so strong that it knocked down one of my camera on the tripod twice. Thank God, one of the guest came and hold the tripod till the end of the ceremony. My favorite part was the couple didn't stop smiling, no matter what happening around them.

The Reception, what can I say. It have to be the highlight of the day really. The MC Roy McCullagh did the fantastic job and check out his profile if you looking for the pro MC. Also I must mention the band and they called themselves "Band Of The Giants". If you looking for the Jazz, Funk, Soul anything with the Grooves, these guys are amazing and highly recommended them. On top of that, all the fantastic guess, foods, wines, speeches, games, and the night was such unforgettable experience.

Thanks again Angelia and Jo for the opportunity. You guys are amazing couple and it was honor to be part of your special day.

Underground Opera

Time to time we do other projects apart form the wedding video productions and here we have a privilege to filmed the special event of Underground Opera at Jenolan Caves. The performance was amazing and the venue is breathtaking. In this video, the audio was recorded from our on camera microphone and nothing added. Put together with this excellence performance and Jenolan Cave was just like a magic.

The Wedding Of Gemma & Martin

Here is our very first wedding in 2010. You don't have to go too far and find some where for this breathtaking million dolor view for your special day. It's right in our backyard. Gemma and Martin are from UK and they had been organizing for their wedding day, all the way from UK. We had been in contact over 7 months ago before the big day and secured with our service. They prepared well and made a lot of right decisions which made this wedding unique.

First of all they chose Sydney as their wedding location was the right choice, wasn't it? Undeniable one of the most beautiful city in the world. Beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony was celebrated at Weir Reserve, Penrith. On the day, it started with a shocking weather. We had a huge storm and who would expect that on early January in Sydney weather. But luckily, hours before the ceremony, everything was clear and the sun shone through. I'd like to mention that it was great working with Geoff Shalala, a talented photographer. And the reception was celebrated on the boat Nepean Belle Paddlewheeler. I highly recommend this family business. Their hospitality and the food are top class. Luke is the man in-charge on the night, wedding MC, also he is a great DJ too. He did a great job for thumping the music all night to make sure everyone had a good time on board.

Finally Gemma and Martin, I met you guys only few days before the wedding day. But thanks for your trust and an opportunity to be part of your special day. All the best for your wedding reception back in UK.

The preparation of their wedding day is so immaculate in great details with personal touches. There were a lot of emotions and tears of joy, immersing everyone in moments of love and devotions.

Jason loves extreme sport and flying. Countless sky diving and many tall buildings and cliffs jumping around the world. In a short word he is a fearless and an adventurous young man, who will conquer anything and anyhow. But he revealed on that night that his excitement and emotion level as a married man, was incomparable with his experiences in extremes sports.

Treasure Hunt

This is not a new one, Kathleen and Matthew's wedding(click here to view the highlight) from back in January. I just want to share this because the video was shot by one of the guest while we shooting the photos session with the bridal party. They prepare the treasure hunt game for the guess to entertain before the reception and I edited to put extra chapter in dvd authoring.

It's a great idea if one of your friend/family member can cover for extra cameraman, also what we can do with that footage.

In this video, if you look carefully, you'll find the cameraman somewhere and I might add he done a pretty good job for usable footage. Shot on SD handy cam and final out put on HD.

The Wedding of Candice & Anthony

I've been wanted to post this wedding highlight, but due to my work load it's never been quick enough to finish. Here we have Spanish and Italian . . . what a beautiful two cultures background. Their love story begin in Latin dance class(so .. they can dance). Candice is a school teacher and my favorite part was when the little students from Candice's class sang at the ceremony. It's just so special. Anthony is a lawyer and one of the nicest guy that I ever met, also Anthony's brother Karl (the best man).

You guys are very friendly and warm hearts. I felt like we've known each other for ages.

The day wasn't just for Candice and Anthony, it was a huge celebration for two side families and friends. The atmosphere was full of love, tears, joy, emotions and fun.

You probably seen it on my web samples page. I post it here again for those who want to view with better quality. Another superb couple in superb location which they choose Paper Creek, Hunter Valley (yes, my favorite too). Finally the dream was came true not only for Yvette and Jun, also the families, friends and work mates. Obviously there was full of love in the room. I am obsoletely honor to be part of their special day. The theme is "French Elegance" and my favorite part is lit the lanterns for the guests as their thank you gifts. That's another reason highlighted "every wedding is difference". There is alway something special personal touch which make different from others. I must add that I am obsoletely happy to work with photographer Natalie Grant from Impact Images. She based in Newcastle and check her works if you ever that way. She does amazing works.

About two and half hours drive from Sydney and one of my favorite location for filming, also where the best wine produced on this planet. On the day, we spent most of our time in the car. But at the end, it was absolutely worth it for such a beautiful place with beautiful couple. Good choice guys..
